I love this series of books. It’s a paranormal romance series about Vampires… I absolutely love it!
My whole life I’ve been in love with the idea of not so human beings living among us mere mortals. Which means I read a lot of fiction. And I have to say J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood is made up of the most perfect vampires I have ever read about. They don’t sleep in coffins or drink human blood or have to kill what they “feed” from. It’s awesome! They just need to nibble from time to time on the neck or wrist or whatever body part they pick, of the opposite sex. No killing needed:)
Ward really is a very good writer. She is intelligent and witty. Not all romance novels are created equal, and The Black Dagger Brotherhood is proof positive of that. The books came highly recommended to me and I highly recommended them to you, especially if you liked Twilight. But, I will warn you, it is not for children. It is an adult series full lots of yummy adult stuff.;)
Maybe I’ll blog more now that I’ve finished the latest book ,Lover Mine. I can hardly wait until her next book comes out next year.
I miss the Brothers already:(
I’m having one of those days where I just have to keep telling myself to be positive, be grateful, be generous.
I need to take time and reconnect with my goals and my values. I feel that I’m off my path.
One of my beautiful friends brought these lovely mums to me. I am so blessed with great people in my life.
I love socks, all kinds of socks. I worked for a salon where the dress code was black. Black, black, black… You get the picture. No color of any kind allowed. And so began my love affair with socks, because you couldn’t see them when I stood.:).
I now work for myself and can wear what ever I choose, and I choose crazy, colorful, seasonal socks!
Oh, and I hardly ever match them with what I wear… I have no idea why.
Happy Halloween Socks!!
Well, I’m on the 30 day wagon again…if you at first do not succeed, try, try again.
Here I go, trying again.
Thank you for your patience.
Tonight I’m at my hubby’s work place hanging out because of a deadline he has tomorrow. Apu and I brought dinner and have been reading, watching movies, and snuggling on the sofa. Fridays are short work days for me so I don’t have to worry about burnout tomorrow:) from the extended hang time at Mr’s work place. I actually really like being here with him.
Just a thought here, but why does my favorite Mexican food restaurant put so much salt on perfectly tasty food, that I look like a blowfish about a hour after I eat it? Jeezzzz! Thank Gus, I didn’t eat the chips and salsa!
Y’all take care. I’m off to drink 2 gallons of water and continue my lovely impersonation of bloated sea life:)
Check out those puffy eyes;)
I really like this piece of art. I have no idea who created it, I just found it on a wallpaper app I have on my phone. I could stare at it for minutes upon minutes. Just wonder what kind of creatures live In those pretty little spaces. I hope you enjoy.
Today was one of those days that you just have to hold on tight. One of my good friends lost her sister last week. Rest in peace Crys Womble-Green. Today they held a service to celebrate her life, and I was so honored to be there surrounding the family with love a support.
One of my lovely co-workers told me today she is leaving. She is such a kind, considerate person… Oh well, deep breath, change is a part of life. I’ll turn all of today’s lessons into something positive. But for now, I just want to hold my favorite person in the whole universe, and take a deep breath. Ajit always knows exactly what to say. I love you, love of my life.
